Turning your Boston, MA area basement into a home office is relatively simple and uncomplicated. If you have a finished basement that’s ready for occupation, you’ll enjoy the flexibility that a home office will give you. With your own home office, you can take care of office work at home, and deal with last minute office work. A home office is also an ideal set up if you do a lot of all your work from home. Forget the kitchen table or the corner of your bedroom -- simply convert the basement into a home office, and watch the increase in productivity!
Fortunately, a home office is easy and inexpensive to set up. A large office table, a comfy chair with adequate beck and head support and some storage space are all you need to kick start your home office. Ensure that lighting is always efficient, and high on visibility, but low on glare. You will spend a lot of time in your home office staring at your compute monitor or going through files and letters, and avoiding eye strain is very important. Add a few cheerful touches to your home office to relive the monotony of the place -- a few throw pillows on a couch, a few potted plants even places near the basement windows.

my current basement has cracks in the wall and old windows from when it was originally built. I want to redesign the basement with dry wall or something comparably close to it. The wash room is also in the basement along with a bedroom that's coming apart, and a so called family room that needs updating to the 21st century.
